A real fun project that I worked on. Had a few concepts, but this one was going to win from the beginning. I have found that it's either the logo concept that you hate or the one that you love that usually the client picks. In this case, it was the one I wanted them to go with.
I'm only posting it because of two reasons, actually three.
Number one, my daughter provided the reference for the drawing, ponytail and all.
Number two, I love the thought behind it. Music can take you anywhere.
Number three, it was declined b y the client. No biggie, but it just goes to show you that sometimes a client has a view and it might not be what your view is. But that's the industry and why I love doing logos. It's like being a safecracker and having to search for right combination to open up the safe.
I was asked to create a shirt design that bordered on "Edgy" yet "Conservative" Uh? okay.
